Personal Development Coaching

Personal development coaching is all about taking responsibility for your life and everything in it. It is a positive forward-looking process designed to establish:

►        Where you are now
►        Where you’d like your life to be
►        How you can move quickly towards making your desired life a reality

Coaching involves taking new approaches, trying out new ideas and doing things differently from how you’ve done them in the past. It requires a new look at the way you function with a view to uncovering how you can employ simple skills to be the best you can be and get what you want out of life.

Finding the right coach

A coaching relationship works best when there is good rapport between coach and client, in other words when there is a good fit. My initial consultation will reveal whether it feels right or not. If we feel we can work together then great. If not, we will intuitively know, as women do, and therefore will choose not to go ahead.

I believe fundamentally in the true potential of my clients. I develop a relationship that is based on truth, openness and trust.  I help establish what’s important to them and what they want from life.  I help them prioritise their lives, help them understand themselves and why they do the things they do, then offer support in setting up processes to encourage them to move forward in the direction they have decided. Together we explore difficulties or aspirations and come up with solutions and ways to move forward.  It's a very exciting process, having someone right by your side, helping you along.

Why do people use a coach?

For many years now sports coaches have helped men and women improve their techniques and performance for better results. The services of a coach are sought to improve their situation and achieve their goals. A coach helps them learn new ways of thinking and approaching situations.

Personal development coaching (life coaching) works much the same way.
